Vertebraes is the new Sexy?!
After viewing V Magazine this morning I wasn’t sure if I was viewing a piece on starving 3rd world countries or Supermodel and Victoria’s Secret Model Gisele Bundchen. Gisele is photographed in various states of undress in a black & white series shot by Hedi Slimane. It’s no doubt Gisele a beautiful girl and Hedi is a amazing photographer but since when was bones considered beautiful? When 62% of our country is above a size 12 its a bit disturbing to see malnourished looking bodies glorified. The counterpoint for years has been plus size women doesn’t grace magazine pages and the silver screen often because it will glorify bad health and obesity. Hmm…Okay well that sure explains the 62%. I guess that 62% is not watching tv, movies, or reading magazines…
