Lust List: 5 Things We're Crushing On

With a such a bright and sunny—not to mention hard-earned!—weekend upon us, we decided to whip up a little fall shopping list to put your paycheck to good use. And because we'll be the last ones to encourage you to push your debit card to the limit, we've made sure each of these stylish gems is well within the realm of affordability. From the cutest fisherman sweater to the perfect pinky stain for lips and cheeks, we've compiled a lust list of pieces that channel the English countryside by way of the big city.

1. The Tiny Cable-Knit Sweater—Ever since seeing Mary Kate Steinmuller in a kids' cable-knit sweater on The Sartorialist, we've had our eyes peeled on eBay and at our local Goodwill for one of our own. We'd pair ours with an amazing statement necklace and a pair of high-waisted pants.

L.L. Bean Kids' Fisherman Sweater (not pictured), $39.50, available at L.L. Bean; Crewcuts Kids' Cashmere Cable-Knit Sweater, $135 , available at J.Crew; Alexa Chung for Madewell Fisherman Sweater, $138, for availability call 866-544-1937.

2. Pendleton Messenger Bag—Don't you just want to pack this baby up with a flask of whiskey, a cheese sandwich, and a beat-up paperback and head directly to your nearest park? Crafted from vintage plaid fabrics, this is our ultimate autumn weekend tote.

Pendleton Vintage Plaid Messenger Bag, $130, available by phone order at Opening Ceremony, 646-237-6078.

3. The Walkmen Lisbon—These homegrown heroes' latest album has been on repeat at R29 HQ. Plus, our dear friend Elizabeth Spiradakis did the dreamy cover art.
The Walkmen Lisbon, $9.99, available at iTunes.

4. Tarte Lip Stain—We're all ready to jump on Spring 2011's matte lip look, and we love these Tarte matte stains, which lasts all day and can double up as blush in a pinch.

Tarte LipSurgence™ Natural Matte Lip Stain, $24, available at Sephora.
5. Cooperative Suede Boots—Piera just bought these and they are comfy, stylish, and best of all look much, much pricier than they actually are.

Cooperative Suede Gumsole Boots, $68, available at Urban Outfitters.
