Hello, hotness! Have you seen the pics from our cover shoot with Jennifer Lopez? They've got a '60s vibe, and holy cow does she look smokin'. And I've got the details (meaning steps and products!!!) behind two of the looks right here. Check it out!
Look 1:
For the cover look makeup artist Mary Philips prepped her skin with Epicuren Pro-Collagen III and then added layers of Chanel foundation and Kevyn Aucoin The Gossamer Loose Powder in Radiant and hit her cheeks with Chanel In Love Blush. For her eyes, she dusted the lids with taupe eyeshadow and added Chanel Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Nior and Kevyn Aucoin Mascara. Then on the lips: Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte Lipstick #30 Faubourg Peach.
As for the hair, hairstylist Juan Carlos Maciques pulled her hair back into a tight, high ponytail and for an extra-smooth finish in the front, he used a clean mascara wand misted with Barex High Gloss Hairspray to slick down any little flyaways and blasted them with a hairdryer for a second. Then he curled the hair into spirals with a large-barrel curling iron, holding it for a few seconds at the top to really lock in some curve in the hair. After the coils cooled, he simply shook them out.
Look 2:
For the makeup for the inside look, Mary simply added more taupe shadow to the creases of Jennifer's upper lids and swapped the lipstick for Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupte #4 Sweet Honey.
For the hair: Juan Carlos simply teased her hair to the root all over the crown of her head in inch-wide sections to get a ton of height, brushed it out a bit and let her hair fall naturally.
