"I picked up this Zac Posen for Target Skirt (Dress) on clearance and immediately asked myself - ok what am I going to wear this with?" Megan, the genius behind The Frugalista Diaries, writes to us. "Denim! I had this pleated Miley/Max Tunic (gifted to me) hanging in my closet just dying to be worn. I threw on some black high waisted shorts under the skirt and tucked the tunic in and was off."
Here's a brilliant example of taking something that feels super dressy and probably prom-appropriate, like a tulle skirt, and making it work for daytime by pairing it with an uber-casual basic, like a chambray shirt. Adorable, huh? Shop our version of the look for less now:
